Crab Curry!!

CRAB CURRY!
Crabs are without doubt the heavenly delicacy for sea food lovers. This is a simple easy recipe I learnt from my aunty.It takes about half an hour to make this dish.

You will need:

2 lb crab legs( I prefer crab legs as there are no hassels of cleaning the whole crab)
1 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup choped tomato
1/2 cup grated coconut
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp pepper
3 red chillies(dried)
A pinch of turmeric powder.
2 cups water

Method:

First grind and make a fine paste of the grated coconut,red chillies,pepper powder,cumin seeds,turmeric powder and keep it aside.

Take a pot and heat one spoon of oil in it. To this add the chopped onions and saute it till it turns golden brown colour.To this add the chopped tomato ,salt to taste and cook it well . Now add the crabs and cook it till the colour of crab shell changes. Then add the ground mixture and mix it well. Add 2 cups water to this and close the lid and cook the curry for 10 minutes on low flame until the curry thickens.

The delicious crab curry is ready to be relished!!! It is best when served with white rice!!
