shrimp and scrambled egg combo!!!

Sea food lovers would really appreciate the taste of this dish.Last night I decided to make a simple shrimp stir fry using tomato sauce. An idea struck my mind as to why not combine shrimp with eggs and see how it tastes. And for sure it tasted heavenly. It took about 15 minutes to make this dish.

You will need:

1 lb cooked shrimps
2 eggs
1 cup chopped onions
1/4 tsp chopped green chillies
1/4 tsp pepper powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 chopped cilantro
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup texas pete sauce(or any hot sauce)
1/4 tsp soya sauce
salt to taste

Method:

Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan and shallow fry the cooked shrimps on high heat for about 2 minutes. To this add the two raw eggs and stir it well till they nicely coat the shrips. Remove and keep aside.

Heat 1 tsp oil in the same pan. To this add chopped onions and ginder garlic paste ,cook it till the onions turn golden brown color. Then add green chilli ,turmeric powder, coriander powder ,pepper powder and cook for 2 minutes. To this add the cooked shrimps coated with egg and mix well. Finally add the three sauces and stir well. Add salt to taste .Stir until all the shrimps get coated with the onion mixture and the sauce.

Shrimp scrambled egg combo is ready to be relished!!! Goes best as a side dish with rice.

  1. Hi Archana, really cool recipe! I'm sure it did taste "heavenly"! This looks like a great side-dish to have! I actually have a "similar" type of recipe, check it out: http://www.ricepalette.com/post/661605536/stir-fry-scrambled-eggs-with-ketchup-and-tomatoes

I didn't use shrimp, but it definitely can be added! I also used ketchup instead of tomato sauce (like you did).

    Anyway, I'm enjoying your blog!
